About Lisa Talamantes, MD

Lisa Talamantes, MD, is passionate about building and maintaining relationships with her patients as she works to build a trusting and open environment of communication. Dr. Talamantes sees her patients as key players in their own care striving to empower them to improve and maintain good health. She feels fortunate to have such a great group of patients, many who have been with her for over 20 years. She enjoys the broad spectrum of family medicine, caring for old and young alike.

Dr. Talamantes received a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Texas Christian University and her medical doctorate degree from UT Southwestern Medical School. She returned to her home state of Colorado for her family medicine residency training program at Mercy Regional Medical Center and St. Anthony Hospital.

She is married and has three adult children. Dr. Talamantes enjoys spending time with family, traveling, volunteering and outdoor activities.
