About LuAnne Hicks, NP
LuAnne Hicks, FNP, cares for her patients using a collaborative and individualized approach, taking into consideration her patients’ values and abilities. Her passion is helping each person reach their fullest potential in health and wellness. She believes the key to optimal health involves a focus on prevention, as well as optimizing the healing potential of the human body.
LuAnne received her master’s degree in nursing and advanced practice from the University of Colorado. She currently serves as affiliate faculty for the family nurse practitioner program at Regis University, actively teaching and mentoring the next generation of advance practice nurses. LuAnne has been board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 1998.
In keeping with her philosophy of health and wellness, LuAnne enjoys hiking and camping with her family, cycling on the many trail systems in the metro area and writing fiction. She has published a children’s book and is inspired by her favorite quote from George Eliot: “It’s never too late to be what you might have been.”
