About Mark Engelstad, MD

Mark Engelstad, MD. Mark grew up near Houston, Texas, but considers Colorado his home. He received his M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He moved to Denver soon after to attend the St. Anthony's Hospital residency program. Mark graduated from the residency program in 1999 then spent five years at a local family medicine clinic.
He opened Partners in Health Family Medicine in 2005. The clinic was founded around Mark's philosophy of building strong doctor-patient relationships while providing quality medical care.
Mark works with a broad spectrum of family medicine patients, and is interested in chronic diseases, geriatrics, and multi-generational family care. "I want to give the best customer service and quality care to every patient that I see," he says.
When not in the clinic, Mark can be found hiking in the Rocky Mountains, biking with his son and daughter, or traveling with his wife and kids.
