About Marlena Romero, LCSW

Marlena Romero, LCSW, is passionate about helping people navigate life challenges and supporting them through their mental health journey. She meets her patients where they are by beginning care at their comfort level and building rapport to help them the best that she can.

Marlena received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Davis and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Denver. She has trained in advanced dialectical behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), parent-child interaction therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Outside of work, Marlena enjoys spending time with her family and watching her children’s various activities. She’s also an avid hiker, fitness enthusiast, traveler and foodie.
