Michael Kim, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is committed to providing the highest level of care that is deeply rooted in compassion and partnership, placing the needs and goals of his patients at the center of the patient-provider relationship. He believes that transparency in communication between providers, patients, families is the foundation of all strong patient-provider relationships. His goal is to provide patients with comprehensive and expert consultative cardiovascular care while emphasizing a strong relationship, both in the acute and clinic-based continuous care settings. He views every patient encounter as an opportunity to assist patients in achieving their cardiovascular health care goals.
Dr. Kim earned his Bachelor of Science at Stanford University and his Doctor of Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed internship and residency in internal medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the University of Colorado Denver.
Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with his family and three children, watching them grow, learn and develop into well-rounded individuals. He also enjoys road biking, golfing, skiing and can regularly be found on the leaderboard while indoor training on his Peloton.
