About Michael Rocklin, MD

Dr. Rocklin joined the Colorado Kidney Care team in 2000. He serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Denver Nephrology, analyzing and working with his partners to continually review and optimize the quality processes of the practice.
He grew up in Troutdale, Oregon, then moved to California to study biology at Stanford University, graduating in 1990. He spent the next year serving the underprivileged as a member of Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) in the San Francisco, CA. Received his medical school education at Baylor College of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Renal Disease and Hypertension at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.---Dr. Rocklin enjoys working with patients with all types of kidney disease, as well as patients with difficult to manage hypertension. Enjoys teaching, serving as a clinical instructor at Sky Ridge Medical Center for the medical students and residents. Dr. Rocklin also serves as the Medical Director of the Davita Belcaro Dialysis Center and participates on the Davita Physician IT Advisory Board.---Dr. Rocklin and his wife are blessed with two children. In their free time, the family enjoys board games, travel, and many hikes with their golden retriever, Meggie.
