About Peter Furness, MD

Peter D.Furness III, MD received his medical training in Philadelphia at Thomas Jefferson University followed by a two year general surgery internship and a four year urology residency at Pennsylvania State University in Hershey. He continued his specialty urology training in Chicago by completing Pediatric Urology and Renal Transplant Fellowship in 1999 from Northwestern University Medical School/Children's Memorial Hospital. Dr. Furness is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He has been practicing Pediatric Urology in Denver since 1999. Prior to joining RMPU in September 2007, he served as an Associate Professor of Urology at The Children's Hospital of Denver. Dr. Furness enjoys mountain biking and skiing with his four sons.
