Sallie Gurganus received her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Physiology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina in 2010. While at USC, Sallie was a scholarship athlete and two time captain of the Track and Field team. Following her undergraduate career, she worked in a hospital and at an orphanage in Cusco, Peru. Sallie received a Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Wake Forest School of Medicine in her home state, North Carolina. She belongs to the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Colorado Academy of Physician Assistants and is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Sallie enjoys being outdoors, spending her free time rock climbing, hiking, and skiing.
