About Stephen Barnes, MD

Originally from Illinois, Dr. Barnes has been with Parker Adventist and Sky Ridge Medical Center since the practice opened in 2004. Born in Danville, IL, he completed his medical school and surgery residency at Loyola University in Chicago. Subsequently, he practiced General Surgery for 10 years in the Rockford, IL area before moving to the Parker area, where he now serves as the President of Front Range Surgical Services. He is also an active Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Colorado Medical Society, and participates in several medical staff committees.
An avid Colorado Rockies fan, Dr. Barnes also treasures his time with his wife and two boys. Additionally, he enjoys getting away to the Rocky Mountains and the Indy 500.
