About Tara Kane, PhD
Tara Kane, PhD is a licensed psychologist and board-certified neuropsychologist who specializes in assessing brain functioning of individuals with neurological, medical and psychological conditions. She received her undergraduate degree from Boston College, and dual Master‘s degrees in Psychology from Columbia University in New York and Palo Alto University in California. After earning her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with specializations in Neuropsychology and Health Psychology from Palo Alto University, she completed her Psychology internship at the Memphis Veterans Administration Medical Center, and Neuropsychology fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the CHPG Neuroscience & Spine team, she was in private practice in Massachusetts.
Dr. Kane provides neuropsychological evaluation with adults and older adults, with special interests in concussion and traumatic brain injury, dementia and neurodegenerative conditions, and medical conditions affecting cognition. When treating patients, she strives to provide comprehensive evaluation and information to help increase understanding of their cognitive and behavioral functioning, and to help guide their treatment.
