About Todd VanderHeiden, MD

Dr. Todd F. VanderHeiden M.D. is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in spinal disorders. He places the highest value on patient care and promises to give everything in his power to see that his patients have good results.

Dr. VanderHeiden attended C.U. School of Medicine, and his training continued at C.U. for his Residency. As Chief-Resident, he further trained in the subspecialty field of spinal surgery, and completed a fellowship in spinal surgery at Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center.

Dr. VanderHeiden practiced at Denver Health Medical Center, where he became Associate Director of Orthopedics and Chief of Spinal Surgery. He was appointed Assistant Professor at C.U., and advanced to Associate Professor. Dr. VanderHeiden knew that his greatest rewards came from treating patients. He joined Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center to have the greatest impact on the greatest number of patients.

Dr. VanderHeiden's favorite sports include helicopter skiing, hiking Colorado 14ers, longboard skate-boarding, and trampoline parks. It is not unusual to catch Dr. VanderHeiden hiking, zip lining, or even cliff jumping with his family. He and his wife, Theresa, have two daughters, Alice and Matilda, and two dogs, Peanut Butter and Jelly.
