About Trinity Vallejo, MD

Trinity Vallejo, MD, has a special passion for preventive medicine and catching health problems early with the use of screening tests and individualized health-risk assessments. Dr. Vallejo enjoys getting to know her patients and learning their past medical history, discussing with them their diagnosis, creating a treatment plan, and tailoring that plan to best fit their needs and goals. Dr. Vallejo specializes in chronic disease management such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, mood disorders, COPD, asthma, and thyroid disease.

Dr. Vallejo received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Organismal Biology at the University of Kansas. While in college, she completed the Scholars in Rural Program through the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She attended medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed a primary care track of internal medicine at the Ohio State University.

When she isn’t in clinic, Dr. Vallejo enjoys spending time with her husband, twin daughters, playing piano, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, and spending time outdoors at the family farm.
