Centura Health announces 10-year partnership with the Denver Broncos

Centennial, CO – May 15, 2023.  The Denver Broncos announced a ten-year partnership with CommonSpirit Health on May 15, 2023, including become the official healthcare partner and naming rights holder for the Broncos’ training facility, the CommonSpirit Health Training Center, as well as numerous community wellbeing initiatives.

On Monday, May 15, Centura Health announced a 10-year partnership with the Denver Broncos, becoming their official healthcare partner and obtaining naming rights to the Broncos’ training facility, now named the Centura Health Training Center.

Centura’s hospitals have been delivering high-quality whole person care to the people of Colorado for 141 years, and our caregivers are proud to live and work in Broncos Country. “Both our roots are grounded in a rich and history and storied legacy,” shared Peter D. Banko, Centura President & CEO, at a press conference Monday. “We are fortified by our mission and values as well as an enduring and expanding commitment to our neighbors and our communities.” “We are excited to embark on this journey together,” said Damani Leech, Team President of the Denver Broncos. “While the naming rights to our facility will be the Centura Health Training Center is certainly the most visible part of this partnership, it is not the entire part of it. We are certainly going to be showing a commitment to youth and promoting health and wellness.” .

On behalf of Centura and CommonSpirit Health, Banko announced a donation of $100,000 from our Health Equity & Advancement Fund to the Denver Broncos Foundation to help improve food security among youth and families. Following the press conference, Banko, Leech and other leaders from Centura and the Broncos participated in creating 100 weekend food bags for local students that included snacks and non-perishable meals for those facing food insecurity.

“We will be partnering to fight hunger in Colorado schools and tackling some of the systemic challenges that lead to food insecurity,” says Banko. “As two impactful organizations with an unwavering commitment to improving our communities, we will start here and plan together for even more systemic change over the next decade.”

Also as part of its partnership, Centura will provide EMS services during all public events at Empower Field at Mile High, including on-site physician coverage, EMS personnel and ambulance services for all home games.
