Meet Our Team

You are not alone. Our multidisciplinary breast care team is here to guide and support you throughout your entire journey, from diagnosis and treatment to life beyond cancer.

Our expert team of providers utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to care: uniting surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists as well as oncology certified nurses and ancillary staff to deliver the best possible outcome for patients. We are also part of the Centura Health Cancer Network, a statewide cancer network that brings together the best and brightest minds in cancer care, armed with leading edge technologies and to offer a comprehensive array of services.

  • Breast Imaging Radiologist

Radiology plays a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer

Every single mammogram image is read by a fellowship trained, board-certified radiologist specializing in breast health. Longmont United Hospital Women’s Imaging is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). ACR Accreditation is recognized as the gold standard of demonstrated safety standards and quality care in medical imaging.

  • Nurse Navigator

Dealing with a cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming

To help you through this process, an Oncology Nurse Navigator will be you and your family’s advocate during your journey providing you with education, support and advocacy.

Your nurse navigator is here to provide assistance with:

    • Understanding your diagnosis and treatment plan, and maintaining your health.
    • Staying informed about your plan of care
    • Coordinating services throughout your cancer journey.
    • Communicating with your health care providers.
  • Breast Surgeon

Our breast surgeon specializes in a wide range of breast cancer surgeries and reconstruction. They work with a patient’s medical team and the patient and their family to tailor a treatment plan based on their wishes and particular diagnosis.

  • Medical Oncologist

Medical oncology services are provided by our expert team located in the Medical Pavilion at Longmont United Hospital. They work closely with the Hope Cancer Care Center radiation therapy team, our team of surgeons, pathologists, diagnostic radiologists and support services to provide comprehensive treatment.

  • Radiation Oncologist

Radiation oncology services are provided at the Hope Cancer Care Center, located on the hospital campus. Hope Cancer Care center serves adults needing radiation therapy for any primary cancer including breast, colon, lung, prostate and other cancers.

  • Genetics Counselor

If you have a family history of cancer or have received a new cancer diagnosis you may have an identifiable hereditary cancer syndrome. A new technology called multigene panel testing simultaneously examines a number of different genes to look for potentially cancer-causing mutations, which can provide information to help you take action to prevent or stop cancer.
