Jude Torchia, MHA
Chief Executive Officer
Jude graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a major in biology and business. He earned his Master's degree in Health Services Administration from George Washington University.
Jude has devoted more than 25 years to the health care industry and most recently comes to OrthoColorado from Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital in Houston, Texas, a 274-bed hospital with two medical plaza buildings and part of the 11-hospital Memorial Hermann system. Prior to his tenure at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital in Houston, Texas, Jude was the CEO of Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Cleveland, Texas.
In addition to his extensive hospital administration background, Jude has experience with opening new hospitals and working with established and well-recognized orthopedic surgeons.
George Brown, RN, MSN, CCRN-K
Vice President Patient Care Services & Chief Nursing Officer
Having started his career as an Intensive Care and Trauma nurse, George brings more than 15 years of nursing leadership to the OrthoColorado Team. Most recently he served as OrthoColorado’s Director of Acute Care Services after working as an Intensive Care Unit Manager at our sister hospital, St. Anthony Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center.
During his 10-year tenure at Baylor Medical Center, George served as an Intensive Care Unit Manager, Administrative Manager, and Intensive Care Unit Supervisor, where he honed his skill in building teams and established a solid track record for delivering superb customer service.
Among his many credentials, George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Baylor University.
Bharat M. Desai, MD
Chief Medical Officer
Bharat M. Desai, MD, has served as Chief Medical Officer for OrthoColorado Hospital since its opening in 2010. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, specializing in musculoskeletal trauma and foot and ankle care.
Dr. Desai graduated from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. He completed a trauma fellowship program at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
He is an active member of OrthoColorado Hospital’s Medical Executive Committee, Value Review Committee, Peer Review and part of OrthoColorado Hospital’s senior leadership team.
Kevin Wikoff, MBA
Chief Financial Officer
Kevin Wikoff serves as chief financial officer for OrthoColorado Hospital, providing financial leadership and analysis with oversight of accounting and finance functions as well as operational responsibility for OrthoColorado’s Surgical Services department.
Kevin joined Centura Health in 2009 and most recently served as director of Decision Support and Budget for the South Denver Operating Group (SDG). In addition, he has worked as a business manager at Porter Adventist Hospital and as a decision support analyst in SDG.
Kevin has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota and is Six Sigma Green Belt certified as well as a graduate of the Centura Health Nebula program.
