About Alex Romero, MD

Alex Romero, MD, works hard to help his patients get back to the function and lifestyle they enjoyed before injury or arthritis. He accomplishes this through education, diet, exercise, physical therapy, injections and sometimes surgery. Dr. Romero tries to provide his patients with the best options available so they can choose the treatment course they feel most comfortable with.

Dr. Romero attended the University of Colorado School of Medicine for his medical education. He completed orthopaedic residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute. Dr. Romero also serves as an orthopedic surgeon in the US Army Reserve and has deployed twice to Afghanistan to serve on the Forward Surgical Teams.

Outside of time in his clinic, Dr. Romero is an outdoor enthusiast. He can be found spending time camping and hiking outdoors with his family. He is an avid Denver sports fan.
