About Donald Bernardini, MD

Dr. Bernardini is a specialist in comprehensive pain management, utilizing both interventional and non-interventional techniques to treat patients.
Dr. Bernardini graduated from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, completed an internship in general surgery at UC Davis Medical Center and Travis Air Force Base, followed by specialized training in aerospace medicine with the US Air Force. He served five years as an active duty flight surgeon, first at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea and then at Aviano Air Base, Italy. He returned to civilian life and completed a residency in anesthesiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School followed by a fellowship in pain medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Bernardini is passionate about offering his extensive experience in minimally invasive pain management techniques to treat patients with immobility and pain, who may be considering invasive orthopedic, spinal, or other surgery.
Dr. Bernardini lives in Denver with his wife and young children and enjoys snowboarding, traveling, sailing, and playing with his kids.
