About Ihor Fedorak, MD
Ihor Fedorak, MD, is a practitioner of bariatric surgery that works with all aspects of general surgery, specializing in gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy and adjustable gastric band. With a deep commitment to the patient care and recovery process, Dr. Fedorak is fully committed to putting his patients first, weighing all possible approaches to treatment both surgical and non-surgical. Dr. Fedorak earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 1985, followed by a surgical residency training program at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine (1989-1994).
When not treating patients, Dr. Fedorak’s interests include spending time with his wife, Dr. Ellen Arendt, as well as fly-fishing, upland hunting, cycling and skiing.
