About Jason Chu, MD

Dr Chu is a board-certified family physician with more than 10 years of experience practicing medicine. He received a medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed residency training at Via Christi Family Medicine Residency in Wichita, Kansas.

Dr. Chu treats a full spectrum of medical conditions and patients of all ages. He especially enjoys serving as a primary care physician because it affords him the opportunity to get to know his patients well. He would welcome the opportunity to get to know you and your family personally through routine visits, such as well-child checks, sports physicals, and annual exams.

Before joining Ridgeline Family Medicine at Castle Pines, Dr. Chu cared for military families at a local active duty clinic, where he treated entire families, from newborns on. As a family medicine physician, he diagnoses and treats a wide range of ongoing (chronic) medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. He also cares for patients with sudden (acute) conditions, from sports injuries to colds and flu.

A native of the Midwest, Dr Chu spent his formative years in North Dakota and moved to California to attend the University of Southern California for undergraduate training. Following graduation, Dr. Chu moved to Nebraska to attend medical school, where he met his wife, a pediatrician. Dr. Chu has called Colorado home since 2007 after answering the call of the snow-capped mountains, where he enjoys snowboarding and hiking.

Ratings

Ratings are calculated via patient surveys collected from the Medical Practice survey from Press Ganey using the Mean score for each of the four questions shown below. Star scores are determined by dividing the mean score by 20 so a 100% Mean score divided into 5ths results in a 5 star rating.
