Kimberly Windels, CNM
Kimberly Windels is a Certified Nurse Midwife with more than 7 years of direct patient care experience. Previously, she spent 25 years as a nurse in labor and delivery. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Texas Women’s University, Dallas, Texas. Kimberly went on to earn her Master of Science in Midwifery from University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, CO. Previously, she had a practice out of Boulder.
Kimberly believes in the partnership with moms-to-be and their families to encourage better health overall for mom and baby. She focuses on a collaborative relationship that can last for a lifetime and encourages holistic, integrative care with referral providers when needed. As a result of her midwifery training, Kimberly specializes in lactation assistance, well woman care, annuals, pregnancy and birth care, preconception care, family planning. She is passionate about childbirth, doula and lactation education.
Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys keeping up with her two adult children, Casey and Cailyn, and all of her extended family, walks with her dogs, Nyla and Arbor, hiking, reading, and anything water related including swimming and sailing
