Kori Schulte, NP, graduated from the University of Colorado School of Nursing in 1998 as a RN and worked for the following 5 years on a busy medical unit at the Children's Hospital of Colorado. In 2003, she obtained her Master's Degree of Nursing from the University of Colorado and began practicing as a family nurse practitioner. Over the following decade, she worked in school health and in the newborn nurseries of Colorado Springs. Most recently, she learned a great deal about pulmonary medicine while working with nationally renowned pulmonologists at The Breathing Institute for the Children's Hospital of Colorado. She is asthma educator certified. Kori's interests include helping both adult and pediatric patients who have been diagnosed with asthma, environmental allergies, food allergies and eczema. She derives great satisfaction from working with families and individuals while ensuring that they are receiving quality care and thorough education. When not caring for patients, she enjoys traveling, camping, scuba diving and spending time with her husband and two school aged children.
