About Kristen Genson, PA-C

Kristen Genson, PA-C believes in treating all patients with kindness, dignity and respect. To treat all ailments with the most up to date treatments to return each individual to their optimal obtainable health. Additionally, she believes in a patient-centered approach to medical care, with the use of medicines as well as diet and lifestyle modifications to return quality to patient’s lives.

Kristen attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA for my undergraduate studies and graduated with a B.S. in Biology. She spent time doing environmental work and returned to school in 2008 to become a Physician Assistant and then attended Rosalind Franklin University in Waukegan, IL with an M.S. in Physician Assistant studies. After, she began working in orthopedics on December of 2010 and have remained with Dr. Johnson since that time.

Kristen has two young sons so majority of her free time involves spending time with them. As a family, they enjoy skiing, hiking and playing outdoors as much as possible. When time allows, she enjoys running, reading and SCUBA diving.
