About Landon Fine, DO
Landon Fine, DO, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Fine is passionate about caring for his patients. He works as part of a multi-disciplinary team of trauma specialists to treat emergencies in children and adults.
Dr. Fine attended Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency training at McLaren Greater Lansing before completing fellowship training. Dr. Fine makes sure to stay up on the newest evidence-based medical procedures and devices to provide the best care possible for his patients. One example is Dr. Fine’s interest in sacroiliac disorders which cause pain in the low back. Historically, patients that experienced complex pelvic fractures can develop sacroiliac (SI) joint pain – often from arthritis or previous lumbar fusions. Today, there are new options for SI joint fusions that are less invasive and have improved outcomes. Dr. Fine is a specialist in this procedure/technique, regardless of whether the SI pain is from a traumatic injury, arthritis or other degenerative condition.
He loves that his career allows him to continually learn and evolve his knowledge and techniques. Dr. Fine enjoys the opportunity to teach other medical professionals and his patients.
