About Lief Sorensen, MD
Lief Sorensen, MD, feels that each patient is unique. His goal is to work together with his patients to restore their quality of life by understanding and managing their pain. He listens carefully to each patient’s questions and concerns to create a comprehensive treatment plan that is individualized to their unique needs.
Dr. Sorensen earned his medical degree at Loma Linda University, Calif., in 2004. He is double board certified in both Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Medicine. He is a member of numerous professional and community committees and is affiliated with the American Academy of Pain Medicine and Spinal Intervention Society. He completed his residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in interventional pain. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Sorensen serves as Chief Medical Officer for Avista Adventist Hospital.
In his free time, Dr. Sorensen enjoys spending time with his family, snow skiing, golfing and running.
