About Linda Davis, MD

Linda C. Davis MD has been a dedicated partner to the members of CHPG Primary Care Southmoor since 1998. She first completed her undergraduate degree at Duke University in 1986 with a double major in French and Biology. She also explored her attraction to international studies by spending a year in France. During that time she traveled throughout Europe and expanded her understanding of cultural differences. She graduated Magna cum laude, Phi Eta Sigma with Dean's List and Class Honors. She then spent several summers as an Outward Bound Instructor which she insists was her hardest job ever! She completed a Master's Program at the University of Chicago in Social Sciences where she again explored cultural differences in Medical Anthropology. She completed Medical School in her home state of Ohio at the University of Cincinnati where she had been awarded the Krucker Merit Scholarship from 1989 until 1993. She continued to widen her horizons by taking an International Health course and spending two weeks in remote Honduras as a part of a medical team. She also won the annual American Medical Association Scholarship for Medical study abroad and spent two months in the Australian Outback in rural Aboriginal communities as part of the Royal Flying Doctors Service. Dr. Davis then finished her residency training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences in 1996. Dr. Davis expresses conviction that her diverse experiences have helped to prepare her for working with individuals and families in health and in sickness. Her cultural exposure has helped her to respect and enjoy the rich variation in the human experience. When not at work, Dr. Davis can most likely be found enjoying the company of her husband while doing Ballroom dancing or enjoying the gorgeous Colorado out of doors.

Ratings

Ratings are calculated via patient surveys collected from the Medical Practice survey from Press Ganey using the Mean score for each of the four questions shown below. Star scores are determined by dividing the mean score by 20 so a 100% Mean score divided into 5ths results in a 5 star rating.
