About Robert Magnuson, MD
Robert Magnuson, MD, is a strong believer in the doctor patient partnership that allows for a mutually agreed upon plan of care and treatment that best meets patient needs and desires. He is interested in seeing all ages and treating all medical problems.
Following a 20-year career in the United States Air Force, Dr. Robert Magnuson returned to college, earning a second bachelor’s degree and going on to medical school at the University of Kansas. Since completing his Family Medicine Residency at the University of Kansas in 2001, Dr. Magnuson has worked in a variety of settings including rural and community health clinics as well as a large family practice. He has also served as a nursing home director, a medical clinic director and an emergency room physician in addition to having privileges at numerous metropolitan and rural hospitals. He provided care for the department of corrections and he worked in a U.S. Army hospital where he served as the chief medical officer for the U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program.
In his spare time he enjoys skiing, hiking and playing with his dogs and cats.
