About Ronald Wilcoxson, LPC
Ronald "Ron" Wilcoxson, LPC, believes that no matter how large or small an issue that a person faces, it’s all important. Ultimately, these challenges will affect a person’s quality of life. Ron's office is a safe place to talk about any obstacles that occured and together he and his patients can come up with solutions.
Ron received his Master's degree from Ball State University in Indiana. He has specialties in assessment and emergency psychiatric intervention. Ron's interests are in the multitude of influences on our mental health, particularly nutrition and physical activity. He has extensive experience in working with addictions and enjoys working with the LGBTQ Community. Ron is trained in neurofeedback, specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and focuses on short-term, immediate problem solving and solutions.
When not in the clinic, Ron can be found taking advantage of Colorado's mountain trails with his dog, Stella. He is a musician, singer and is handy with a set of tools which he uses fixing up his home.
