About Shawn Nakamura, MD

Shawn Nakamura, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon that sees patients in Castle Rock. He works as a partner with his patients, to help guide them through treatment options and make sure they feel comfortable about their plan of care.

Dr. Nakamura attended Yale University School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship training at Tulane University School of Medicine. He is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Nakamura has many research and publication contributions. He volunteers his time as a team physician for high school and collegiate level athletic programs.
