About Sunmee Lee, MD

Sunmee Lee, MD, is a board-certified physician practicing gynecology in the Parker/SE Aurora area. Dr. Lee received her BA degree from Northwestern University in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Cellular Biology in 1988 with departmental honors. She then received her MD degree from Northwestern University Medical School in 1992. She completed OB/GYN residency at the Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge in 1996, serving her final year as a chief resident. She then completed her Army scholarship obligation by serving in Fort Bragg, Fort Stewart, then Seoul, Korea as an OB/GYN physician. She is honorably discharged as a Major Promotable. She joined Dr. Susanna Choi in September, 2003 and is board certified in OB/GYN. She is also a fellow of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a member of Christian Medical and Dental Association. She has been married to Jon since 1992 and has twin daughters, Hannah and Elizabeth.
