About Pamela Vallejo-Craig, MD
Dr. Pamela Vallejo-Craig graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with degrees in Biology, Chemistry and Spanish before attending the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School for her medical school, internship and residency. Before moving to Colorado in 2010, she worked in private practice in Dallas, TX, where she also served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.
Dr. Vallejo is board certified in internal medicine and holds a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University. Dr. Vallejo believes that a plant-based diet can alter and sometimes reverse many common diseases we see today such as hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol and obesity. Nutrition education is a large focus of her practice. Dr. Vallejo emphasizes lifestyle medication and nutrition to all her patients and enjoys working with patients motivated to achieve their optimal health.
