About Sara Campbell, NP
Sara Campbell, AGACNP-BC, FNP-BC, AACC, believes in a philosophy of walking alongside a patient on the path to better cardiac health. She understands that each patient is different and is on their own unique health journey. As a nurse practitioner it is her responsibility to bring the correct blend of evidence-based medicine, compassion and common sense to their care. She is certified in geriatric and family medicine with a specialty in cardiovascular health. She focuses on general cardiology concerns, such as coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart failure and rhythm issues. She can assess cardiovascular risk and provide strategies to prevent cardiac disease.
Sara attended the University of Colorado and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Health Science, with an emphasis on behavior change. She then received her Bachelor of Nursing, from Beth-El School of Nursing, UCCS in Colorado Springs. Sara earned her Master of Nursing in Acute Care and Family Nurse practitioner from Colorado State University and is board-certified as a cardiovascular nurse practitioner.
Sara grew up in Gunnison, Colorado, and feels especially lucky to be able to live the mountain life. She loves to hike, fish and ski. She also loves to cook and feed people.
