Brian Erling, MD, MBA
President and CEO, Penrose-St. Francis Health Services
Dr. Brian Erling is the President and CEO of Penrose-St. Francis Health Services. In his previous role, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer for Centura Health where he was responsible for providing overall strategic direction and leadership for the establishment and sustained success of Centura Health in clinical excellence and optimal value to support whole-person care and flourishing communities. Prior to this role, Brian served as Group Chief Medical Officer for the organization’s Mountains & North Denver hospitals. A highly experienced emergency medicine specialist, Dr. Erling has long been a leader in quality improvement and was recently appointed as a Baldrige Executive Fellow.
Prior to joining Centura Health, Dr. Erling served as president of the EmCare Alliance Group, a subsidiary of Envision Healthcare, a leading provider of multi-specialty physician and contract management services. He was also a founding partner of the Apex Emergency Group PC in Denver, and has served as the Denver medical director for American Medical Response, a subsidiary of Envision Healthcare and the largest international air and ground medical transport company.
Dr. Erling received his Bachelor of Science in biology from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa; his Medical Doctorate from John Hopkins University in Baltimore; and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado in Denver. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Dr. Erling is board certified through the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Chief Operating Officer, Penrose-St. Francis Health Services
Lonnie brings 28 years of operational health care experience to Penrose-St. Francis Health Services, where he has been a leader since 2007. Prior to assuming his current role as Chief Operating Officer of Penrose-St. Francis, he initially held the title of Administrative Director of Surgical & Imaging Services, as well as Director of Orthopedics and Neurosurgical Service Line for Penrose-St. Francis and SVP/Chief Administrative Officer for Penrose Hospital.
As COO, he has full operational responsibility for Penrose-St. Francis, spearheads hospital joint ventures and business development initiatives. Lonnie’s additionally responsible for the operational integrity of all service lines such as, Orthopedic, Neuroscience, Oncology, Cardiovascular, and Trauma.
He began his health care career in the U.S. Army, serving eight years in multiple areas, including Angiography, Cardiac Cath, Cat Scan, X-ray, and MRI. He held the title of Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services for the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in Florida. Lonnie also served as Chief Operating Officer for Diagnostics Inc., a company in Metairie, Louisiana, that owned and operated five free-standing imaging centers in several states.
Lonnie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Ottawa University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Practice Management from Texas Tech University. He possesses national registries in Radiology, Computerized Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
David L. Dull, MD
Chief Medical Officer, Penrose-St. Francis Health Services
Dr. Dull comes to Penrose-St. Francis Health Services after serving as CMO for Providence Medical Center and Providence Park Hospital in Southfield, Mich., a position he held since 2012.
Dr. Dull provides leadership, strategic direction and operational management of physician services, quality and medical staff administration. He has a key role in helping Penrose-St. Francis establish effective relationships with the medical staff, including hospital-based groups, private practice referring groups, ambulatory staff members and employed physicians. Dr. Dull attended the Wayne State College of Medicine in Detroit, Mich., and completed his Residency in Anesthesiology and Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. He obtained his Masters of Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Penn. Dr. Dull previously served as Chair and Medical Director of the Department of Anesthesia at Spectrum Health Hospitals in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Dr. Dull is a results-oriented physician executive with a proven record of leading teams to exceeding extensive improvement goals. His key strengths include strategy development, process redesign and implementation, team dynamics and physician relations, with a demonstrated effectiveness of working in complex environments managing multiple concurrent goals. In his previous role, Dr. Dull provided oversight for the radiology service lines for two hospitals and a medical staff of more than 1,400 physicians. He redesigned the hospitalist program to decrease layers of care and improved quality, while significantly decreasing cost to the institution.
Vice President of Operations, Penrose Hospital
Kristi has more than 20 years of health care leadership experience, the past five years as the Director of Homecare for Centura Health at Home. Kristi has operational responsibilities at Penrose Hospital over Facilities, Imaging, Rehabilitation, Respiratory Therapy, Support Services, Laboratory and Blood Bank.
Kristi is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, serving as an anti-submarine warfare officer as well as an administrative officer at the National Naval Medical Center. She holds bachelor of science and master of science degrees in physical therapy from Thomas Jefferson University, graduating Magna cum Laude for both. Before joining Centura Health in 2011, she filled leadership positions in physical therapy, rehabilitation and home health at various locations.
Vice President of Operations, St. Francis Medical Center
Calvin is responsible for all non-nursing departments at St. Francis Medical Center, such as Imaging, Lab, Pharmacy and Support Services. He is involved in the SFMC expansion project, working closely with SFMC Site Administrator Mark Hartman, the executive sponsor of the $102 million project. For the last two years, Calvin has served as the Director of Pharmacy for PSF and Director of Support Services for SFMC. A Centura Health associate since 1998, Calvin is a well-respected leader within PSF and throughout the system. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Wyoming and a Master of Science Degree in Pharmacy Administration from the University of Texas.
Chief Financial Officer, Penrose-St. Francis Health Services
Patrick has 30 years of Decision Support, Accounting and Finance experience in the health care industry, all with Penrose-St. Francis. He began his career as a Staff Accountant in Finance and has held several titles over the past 30 years, including Controller and Director of Finance since 2005. Patrick is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations at Penrose-St. Francis and will assist with strategic initiatives designed to increase our financial performance, quality and breadth of services. He leads our annual fiscal planning cycle, including strategic, capital and operational budget processes. Patrick also facilitates accurate productivity reporting and benchmarking.
Patrick has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Southern Colorado (now Colorado State University – Pueblo), and a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Troy University.
Rose Ann Scibona, RN, MSN, NE-BC
Chief Nursing Officer, Penrose-St. Francis Health Services
Rose Ann began her career at Penrose Hospital in 1981 as a new graduate staff registered nurse on the Oncology Unit. Since then, she has held a variety of nursing leadership positions, including Assistant Nurse Manager, Clinical Manager, Director of Acute Care Services and Vice President of Nursing Services for Penrose Hospital.
Rose Ann earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Master of Science degree in Nursing, both from the University of Phoenix. She is Board Certified as a Nurse Executive and a member of the Colorado Organization of Nurse Leaders and the American Organization of Nurse Executives.
Passionate about nursing, quality, safety and supporting those who create exceptional patient experiences, Rose Ann has dedicated her entire career to Penrose-St. Francis. She has more than 36 years of clinical and health care leadership experience and she is proud to express that her values fully align with the Mission and Values of Penrose-St. Francis and Centura Health. Rose Ann is intricately familiar with our organization and has built valuable collaborative relationships across Penrose-St. Francis and Centura Health. Rose Ann is dedicated to moving health forward and building a legacy of whole person care for the Colorado Springs community.
Stacy Kreil, MSN/ED, RN, NE-BC
VP Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, Penrose-St. Francis Health Services
Stacy Kreil joins Penrose-St. Francis from Littleton Adventist Health System, where she worked for the past five years as the Service Line Director for Women’s and Children Services.
Stacy works closely with our Chief Nursing Officer to provide oversight of nursing practices across all settings at both Penrose Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center and works collaboratively with the executive team to drive Mission, Strategy, Quality, and Service.
Stacy joined Littleton Adventist Hospital in 2013 as Service Line Director for Women & Children’s Services and was a dedicated leader for the Women & Newborn, Labor & Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, and Pediatric & Adult Care units. She has over 28 years of nursing experience and has an extensive clinical and leadership background in Neonatal & Pediatric Intensive Care and Perinatal Nursing. Stacy is currently in the Executive Leadership Program at Regis University to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
As a purpose-driven leader, Stacy is on a mission to empower those on the frontline to take full advantage of their potential, as well as provide the best patient experience and outcomes, by offering clarity of direction and a path to the future.
