St. Catherine Hospital has been granted a three-year/Full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons. Accreditation by the NAPBC is only given to those centers that have voluntarily committed to provide the highest level of quality breast care and that undergo a rigorous evaluation process and review of their performance.
In the spring of 1997, St. Catherine Hospital opened the Cancer Center in Garden City. A significant expansion of the building was recently completed, creating a center of excellence for oncology care. The Cancer Center, located on the south side of the hospital campus, has expanded out, then upward, on the west side of the Cancer Center's present building, making it a two-story facility. The multimillion-dollar expansion was completed in 2016.
Diabetes services at Siena Medical Clinic represent a multidisciplinary approach, with nurse practitioners, podiatrists, nurses and dietitians, physical therapist, physical therapy assistants and respiratory therapists working with patients to ensure that treatment decisions reflect the patient's needs and preferences, while maintaining the highest standards of care. Every member of the diabetes care team is dedicated to working together to provide state-of-the-art care for every patient we serve. Our team concentrates on a patient centered approach to the lifestyle management that diabetes care requires.
In addition to outpatient visits with the nurse educator, we offer an all-day diabetes class quarterly. The cost is $250 for the entire day. This includes lunch and you may bring a support person with you for no additional cost. The all-day class format allows you to have interaction of the instructors as well as the support and interaction of the class participants.
One of the most amazing aspects of emergency medicine is the wide range of conditions that arrive and are treated at the St. Catherine Hospital Emergency Department. No other specialty in medicine treats such a variety of conditions including car accidents, sports injuries, broken bones, heart attacks/chest pain, breathing difficulties, strokes, farming accidents, lacerations, complications from diseases, and high fevers.
Fertility Care Clinic
The Fertility Care Clinic at St. Catherine Hospital is opening the door to fertility care options with innovative, moral solutions to infertility that are not typically available through mainstream medical practices. The clinic specializes in fertility care services that allow Catholic medical centers to work in collaboration with their Archdioceses to offer a fertility care program that follows the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.

When you come to The Heart Center at St. Catherine Hospital for cardiac specialty care, you experience advanced diagnostic testing and treatment provided by a highly skilled team of compassionate, caring professionals. We offer comprehensive cardiology evaluation and consultation and non-invasive cardiac testing.
