General Information
Learners, who benefit the most with live instruction, will enjoy the opportunity to interact with other EMT's and the instructors in a formal classroom setting. The course consists of six 4-hour sessions and a final exam.
You will learn to recognize and understand normal and abnormal EKG patterns. This class will allow practice recognition and analysis of EKG strips as you gain understanding of common EKG rhythms and the management strategies of treating arrhythmias.

Eligibility
Both courses are open to any interested student, however, only individuals holding State of Colorado or National Registry EMT certification will qualify for approved continuing education credit. All other students will receive course completion certificates.

Continuing Education
Both of the courses qualify for 32 hours of continuing education under the St. Anthony Hospital/PreHospital Services, State of Colorado Training Group approval. In addition to serving as continuing education, this course provides the necessary skills and foundation needed for entrance into most paramedic programs. 80% GPA is required for passing.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel your registration five (5) business days prior to the first day of class, your tuition will be refunded less a $50.00 enrollment processing charge. Refunds requested after the beginning of class will be pro-rated based on hours attended.

Online Basic and Advanced EKG Courses:
The self-paced online courses are offered in conjunction with Lifeline Health & Safety Educators. These courses allows lecture material to be viewed anytime, anywhere, on most computers and mobile web devices. Integrated online testing modules and workbook exercises complete the learning experience. In some cases, an on-site final examination may be required. Students will be allowed up to 6 weeks to complete the program.
