Course description

The student will learn to recognize and understand normal and abnormal EKG patterns. The student will practice recognition and analysis of EKG strips as the student gains understanding of common EKG rhythms

  • Didactic/Classroom/Lab – 24 hours
  • 80% GPA required for passing

Class size: 12 minimum

  • Total tuition and all required fees: $250

  • Required Textbook ($90)

Register and pay your tuition. Registration is required. Course is open to any interested student, however, only individuals holding State of Colorado or National Registry EMT certification will qualify for approved continuing education credit. All other students will receive course completion certificates.

Cancellation / Refunds:

  • Individuals canceling prior to the first day of class will be refunded tuition paid, less a $50 enrollment processing charge.
  • Refunds requested after the beginning of class will be pro-rated based on hours attended.
  • In the event the course is cancelled, a 100 percent refund will be given. The refund will be exclusive of books, tools and supplies.

Lifeline Educators, in conjunction with Centura’s EMS Education Department, provides self-paced online educational materials to medical providers. These online offerings allow lecture material to be viewed anytime, anywhere, on most computers and mobile web devices. Integrated online testing modules and workbook exercises complete the learning experience.

Continuing Education credits, and/or course-completion certificates will be awarded upon successful completion of courses. In some cases, an on-site final examination may be required.

Access to online material will be granted once payment for the course has been received (allow up to 24 hours to allow payment verification). Students will be allowed to begin viewing currently available coursework through their online education “home” page, once individual registration (and course payment) has been completed.
