Leadership
Leading Centura
Our leaders are stewards of our original mission. By living out this mission daily, they help traverse challenges, support our incredible people, identify new opportunities and advance our ecosystems growth. Our leaders amplify the creativity, flexibility and courage of our associates so that, no matter the challenge, our people feel empowered to build flourishing communities and whole person care.

More impact, together
In 1996, a transformative chapter began. The union of two mission-driven health care leaders — united by one remarkable Mission, to extend the healing ministry of Christ — enabled Centura Health to amplify its impact and establish a higher standard of whole person care. Both sponsors are inclusive in their values, and emphasize the vital role that all types of spirituality can play in health care.
AdventHealth
Founded in 1973 to support and strengthen Seventh-day Adventist health care organizations in the southern and southwestern regions of the United States, AdventHealth is the largest nonprofit Protestant health care provider in the nation and one of the nation’s largest nonprofit health systems. AdventHealth supports 45 hospitals and employs nearly 43,000 individuals, serving nearly four million consumers each year.
CommonSpirit Health
CommonSpirit Health was created by the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health as a single ministry in early 2019. CommonSpirit Health’s commitment to serve the common good is delivered through the dedicated work of thousands of physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, and staff; through clinical excellence delivered across a system of 137 hospitals and more than 1,000 care centers serving 21 states; and through more than $4 billion annually in charity care, community benefits and government program services.
Foundations
Partners in access
As a nonprofit, Christian-based organization, we provide services to all of those in need, regardless of their ability to pay. To make this possible, we rely on charitable gifts from our donors. These critical gifts finance improvements, equipment and help us remain on the leading edge of modern medicine. Most importantly, our donors help us serve all patients including the poor, elderly and uninsured.
Our foundations
As a not-for-profit, Christian-based organization we're driven to reinvest our resources in the communities we serve. This reinvestment is made possible by our incredible foundations and allows us to deliver specialized services and compassionate care to those who need it, regardless of their ability to pay.
